Removing shafts with use of a thermal lance

Removing a shaft which is stuck in the bore without damaging the original bore tolerance.
When all the regular methods to remove the stuck shaft had failed, STARKON Industrial Services provided the solution. The company melted the shaft using a thermic lance with an operating temperature of 2500 °C in combination with trained, skilled operators.
The shaft is easy to remove once the thermic lance cuts it. The original bore dimension will still be intact and a new shaft and its components can be installed.
