Project support for two bridges and four locks at the Waasland Haven in Antwerp

The Kieldrecht Lock is the worlds biggest lock gates and was finished in May 2016. The four lock doors and two bridges were built in China by our client ZPMC and shipped to the port of Antwerp. After the arrival of the vessel, the unloading and installation takes place and is scheduled for 14 days only.
STARKON project support supplied the needed Ponton accommodation, tools and workforce to complete the job, including project management.
We are proud to have managed all the work within the tight 14-day schedule. After the installation, STARKON was involved in the completion of the remaining work.
