After a collision between a container vessel and a container crane, the lashing platform of the crane was damaged in such a way that the crane is no longer operational.
STARKON started the incident repair procedure and started with the repair within one week after the order. We removed the platform and transported it with the help of SPMT machines, to the repair site. The first step was to remove the platform and modify the crane in such a way that it was operational again.
After two weeks, the crane was operational again. The repair of the lashing platform is currently ongoing, and completion is expected at the beginning of March.
