SKF requested some support of the bearing installation on the main reel of an offshore cable lay vessel. The reel is the biggest build until now, so the bearing dimensions is also exceptional. Installing the bearing is a precision job.
Providing the required skilled and experienced mechanics in combination with the required tools.
STARKON supplied the manpower and the tools. The bearing was installed according to strict procedures within the schedule and according to the client’s quality standards.
